Opportunities in Taiwan
| The University of Georgia Athletic Training Education Program in association with the Natinal Taiwan Sport University (NTSU) is offing a study abroad experience specifically designed for Athletic Training students. The program is available to undergraduate and graduate students in Athletic Training and will provide the student wtih classroom knowledge and clinical experiences. The academic program will focus on traditional Asian therapies to include acupressure massage, pain relief techniques and cranial therapy. The clinical program will provide athletic training observation with Taiwan Athletic Trainers Society certified athletic trainers with NTSU intercollegiate teams and at physician offices. The program is limited to 20 students. |
Cost: $3,200-$3,500 The fee includes international airfare from Los Angeles (LAX) to Taipei (note: the student is responsible for airfare to LAX), all housing at NTSU and hotel at Toroko Gorge and Kenting Beach, all ground transportation in Taipei City and transportation to cultural tours including the bullet train from Toroko Gorge. Fee also includes all admission tickets to cultural tours, and most meals. |
