Jennifer Martins, MS, ATC, CAT (C)

Jennifer is currently Chair of the International Relations Committee with the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association (CATA). She is also on the Canadian Board of Certification for Athletic Therapy where she is the international liaison. As the liaison, Jennifer served as the point person assisting international candidates prepare for the CATA national exams. As such she is well informed about the importance of international recognition of the profession of Athletic Training and Therapy. Most recently, Jennifer was an instructor for the Qusai/WFATT Initiative in Jordan. She is also involved in the current re-negotiation discussions for the Mutual Recognition Agreement. She is employed at Wilfrid Laurier University as the head football Athletic Therapist. She also works with the Canadian Men’s National Volleyball Team.
