The Ono Academic College (OAC) Bachelor of Science in Sports Therapy (BSST) degree is designed to enable undergraduate students to become certified sports therapists. The program is accredited by the Council for Higher Education (CHE) in Israel and provides students with practical training in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports related injuries and general medical conditions. Students also learn how to use sports as part of the rehabilitation program for different medical/pathological conditions. To fulfill their requirements for the degree, all students must complete 130 credits, one research project, and a total of 300 clinical hours. The BSST programming is specifically designed to prepare students for a career as sports therapists.
