Only students who are un-certified and enrolled in an athletic training/athletic therapy/sport rehabilitator education program at the time of submission are eligible to respond to this call for student research.

Overview

The World Federation of Athletic Training & Therapy (WFATT) invites un-certified students to submit research abstracts for the 13th World Congress. This prestigious international event is an excellent opportunity to present your high-quality research or case studies to a global audience of sports medicine and allied health professionals.

The 3-day conference meeting will be held from October 16-18, 2025 at the beautiful Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club in Maynooth, just outside Dublin. The 13th World Congress is being hosted by Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland (ARTI).

Join us for three days of stimulating collaboration, education, and discussion, as we bring together experts from various sports medicine and allied health professions worldwide.​

Research Areas

Authors are required to categorize their abstracts in one of the following specific areas of research:

  • Basic science

  • Clinical studies

  • Educational research

  • Epidemiological studies

  • Observational/informational studies

  • Case studies

  • Only students who are un-certified and enrolled in an athletic training/athletic therapy/sport rehabilitator education program at the time of submission are eligible to respond to this call for student research.​

  • Deadline for abstracts and partial abstracts is June 20, 2025.

  • Presentation formats: poster

  • Notification of acceptance: July 10, 2025.

  • Accepted submissions will not be published.
