"I am extremely honored that the membership of the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy (WFATT) has elected me as their new President.  My focus will be to fervently promote the WFATT vision of ensuring that athletic trainers and therapists are recognized as a essential part of the healthcare team globally, along with continuing to facilitate communication and collaboration with our member organizations. I am excited for what the future holds and the direction of this outstanding organization.

I am excited that the WFATT Executive Committee will continue to have the leadership of Jennifer as a Vice-President for the next two years.  Her work as the International Relations Committee Chair for the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association, as well as her years of service to the WFATT and as a key voice in the new International Arrangement have illustrated her passion to further the recognition of athletic training and therapy throughout the globe.

In electing Dr. Daisuke Uematsu to a second two-year term as Vice-President, the WFATT voting membership made an outstanding choice.  Dr. Uematsu is a tireless champion of athletic training and therapy.  His service as the President of the Japan Athletic Trainers’ Organization and his work in delivering outstanding educational content, including the 10th World Congress in Tokyo, is tremendous.  I look forward to continuing to work side-by-side with Dr. Uematsu as a valued member of the WFATT Executive Committee."

"I feel very proud to be a part of this community and very honored to serve as the vice president of Word Federation of Athletic Training & Therapy again. We’ve seen many more counties and regions trying to incorporate and embrace the athletic training & therapy profession.
