GREG GARDNER TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE NATA HALL OF FAME

Greg Gardner, Vice-President of the WFATT 2011-2018 will be inducted into the NATA Hall of Fame at the 2020 NATA Convention in Atlanta.

 

 Greg has demonstrated so much commitment to the profession of Athletic Training both in the US and internationally.  Greg served the NATA in several capacities since 1997 including NATA Education Council, 1997-1999; Standards Interpretation Manual Committee, Joint Review Committee for Athletic Training, 2001-2006; Commission for Accreditation of Athletic Training Education, 2006-2011 (President 2008-2011); and NATA Committee on Professional Ethics 2016 – Present.

 

His work with the NATA has been previously recognized with a number of awards including: The National Athletic Trainers Association Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer, June 2011; Mid America Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame Inductee, March 2013; Oklahoma Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame Inductee, May 2014; Commission on Accreditation for Athletic Training Education Bob and Lynn Caruthers Service Award, October 2017; and the National Athletic Trainers Association Athletic Trainer Service Award, June 2018.

 

We are very proud of his accomplishments and his contributions to the profession of Athletic Training and specifically to the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy (WFATT)
