Overview

The World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy (WFATT) is calling for speaker applications for the 13th World Congress. This prestigious international event is an excellent opportunity to present to a wide range of professionals, students, and educators.

The 3-day conference meeting will be held from October 16-18, 2025 at the beautiful Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club in Maynooth, just outside Dublin. The 13th World Congress is being hosted by Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland (ARTI).

​

Join us for three days of stimulating collaboration, education, and discussion, as we bring together experts from various sports medicine and allied health professions worldwide.​

Delivery Methods

The theme of this World Congress is “Elevating and Uniting Sports Medicine” as we bring together allied health professions from around the world for three days of exciting collaboration and discussion. Topics may vary dependent on professional area of interest.

 

Possible methods of delivery include:

  • Lecture

  • Interactive Workshop

  • Expert Roundtables

  • Breakout Sessions

  • Pre-Conference Workshop

The use of a weight room, pool, and rubber/turf yoga studio is also available for use as part of any workshop. More details can be provided on request.​​

Funding

The World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy (WFATT) is unable to provide funding to speakers. WFATT relies on the generous contributions of member associations to help offset the cost of attendance for speakers. However, all speakers will be eligible for Continuing Education Units.

  • The deadline for speaker applications is February 1, 2025.

  • Presentations should be categorized under one of three target audiences:

    • Professional Programming

    • Student Programming

    • Educator Programming
