Athletic Therapy Classroom – A141 Albert College
Albert College on our Glasnevin Campus is home to a state-of-the-art athletic therapy classroom and clinic allowing the integration of teaching, research and clinical care. The athletic therapy classroom has outstanding facilities that provide all the equipment essential to the acquisition of clinical and academic skills, while also providing a superior learning environment for our athletic therapy students. Student complete much of their clinical education in Albert College with access to plinths, anatomical models, academic resources and a variety of therapeutic modalities.
Physiology, Biomechanics and Psychology Labs
In preparation for the technical, physiological and psychological demands of athletic therapy, students have access to leading equipment in exercise testing, movement analysis and strength training within our specialised labs.
House 19 Rehabilitation Clinic
The injury rehabilitation clinic provides a spacious environment for creativity and diversity with injury rehabilitation. Students utilise the space to learn and teach rehabilitation exercises and techniques for the restoration of optimal form and function for injured athletes experiencing upper or lower limb injuries.
University Sports Complex
Students have access to our state-of-the-art university sports complex incorporating health, wellness and sports. Facilities include a gym and fitness centre, 25 metre swimming pool and spa, sports hall, basketball courts, squash courts, sprint track and sports campus with two GAA fields, two soccer fields, one rugby field and an all-weather 3G field.
